Mourtaou, also known as Cabernet Pfeffer, is an incredibly rare grape. California grows the most of it at just over 10 acres. These vines from Wirz Vineyard in Cienaga Valley were planted over 100 years ago. They are dry farmed and produce a light ruby wine with low tannin and lots of spice.
